News Continous improvement competition

Skandia Elevator has been nominated for an award with one of our continous improvement projects.

The competion is called Swedish Team Excellence Award & Lennart Sandholm Prize. The purpose of the prize is to reward a improvementproject that was in a exemplary way performed and which solved a problem of importance for the organization.

The winner of this Prize are directly qualified to compete for the American International Team excellence Award process which is held in Nashville, USA – 2015.

The competing projects are from all types of buisness from all of Sweden.

The prize is judged and awarded by the following organizations.

SIQ -Swedish institute for quality development

SFK – Swedish institute for quality

SIS – Swedish standardization institute

SFV – Swedish forum for healthcare quality Qualitycongress

IAQ – International academy for quality

The entered project from Skandia Elevator is a Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt project which had the pupose of improving the product quality and reduce the processtime in one of our robot – folding machines.

I can gladly announce that Skandia Elevator has gone thru to the finals in this competition and the project team will attend and present the project at the EOQ Congress in Gothenburg on the 10-13/6 2014.

We wish to thank all members in the project team for a sucessful result which lead to the place in the finals of this competition
