Improvin’ and Grain Cloud partner to explore the value of data sharing
Both see enhanced supply chain transparency as essential for reaching environmental and financial sustainability.

Skandia Elevator have established a partnership with Improvin’. The partnership explores the value of data exchange in enhancing the transparency of the grain supply chain. Improvin’ accelerates the food industry’s transition towards more sustainable food production. With Improvin’s AI-powered platform, food businesses can measure and report their supply chain specific Scope 3 emissions and verify their climate footprint, at scale. In addition, companies can incentivize emission reductions in their own value chain using a verified process and ongoing monitoring of primary data.

“This partnership is a win-win for both of us. Together, we can gather and process grain data which will ease the use of our platform and increase the precision of our emission calculations. Our sustainability data will in turn provide increased value for Grain Cloud’s users.”, says Joel Glemne, the co-founder and CPO of Improvin’.

Grain Cloud is Skandia Elevator’s pioneering digital grain storage system optimizing facility workflows and increasing the profitability of agriculture. Grain Cloud provides the Grain App which gives growers total control over their grain work and collects grain data, e.g. weight, drying temperature and energy used, into a database.

“Grain Cloud is focused on increasing knowledge and profitability in agriculture. Together with Improvin’, we have a chance to investigate the value of the traceable grain supply chain. We see fantastic opportunities in this joint effort and believe that it will provide great value for our customers”, concludes Joakim Larsson, CEO and co-owner of Skandia Elevator.
