News We welcome new board members
We have recruited two new board members. Lars Wilsby and Ola Sjölin.
Lars Wilsby was born in 1962 and lives in Västra Frölunda.
Lars worked at McKinsey & Company as a management consultant for 15 years. There he worked with management groups, strategy, after-sales and logistics mainly for companies in the engineering industry.
Later Lars worked for SKF for 9 years in various positions. For five years he was Director of Global Vehicle Service Market, that is, responsible for the automotive aftermarket worldwide. After that Lars was responsible for the Group’s business development of logistics and IT, reporting directly to the CEO.
Since 2015 Lars runs his own consulting company as an independent advisor and as a Professional Board member with multiple assignments.
Ola Sjölin was born in 1966 and lives in Gothenburg.
Ola worked 10 years at Tradex, which manufactured components for mobile phones, and was at that time stationed a number of years in the United States and later in China. When Tradex where acquired by Brady, Ola became Business Leader for their Global Mobile Headsets unit that had a turnover of 1 billion SEK and approximately 1,500 employees worldwide.
Today Ola is CEO for AxIndustries which is one of four business areas within Axel Johnson International. AxIndustries turnover today is 150 million Euros and they have 550 employees.
Lars and Ola will assume the Board at the Annual General Meeting on 29 March. Before that, we will meet with them a number of half days to get to know each other.
Our present chairman Johnny Frisell continues as Chairman of the Board and the Board will thus consist of the two partners Jonas and Joakim Larsson and three external members.
